Proud to announce VensoGrow in Top 4 of Beanstalk AgTech Drought Venture Studio

We’re proud to announce that VensoGrow has progressed to Phase 2 of the Beanstalk AgTech Drought Venture Studio, a prestigious program supported by the Australian Government’s Future Drought Fund.

This milestone brings with it $250,000 in non-dilutive commercialisation funding and access to Beanstalk’s industry-leading team and resources—an incredible boost as we continue developing our innovative seed treatment solutions.

At VensoGrow, we know the road to commercialising deep technology is full of complex challenges, from regulatory hurdles to scaling production and proving efficacy in the field. Programs like this, which combine public funding with private sector expertise, are instrumental in helping startups like ours navigate these challenges. We are especially grateful to Beanstalk AgTech for their deep experience in agtech, commercialisation, and founder support, which is already making a tangible difference.

Our flagship innovation, BreezeCoat™, is designed to enhance crop resilience to drought—supporting farmers to grow more sustainably and productively in a changing climate. This recognition validates our team’s commitment to building impactful solutions that can help feed a growing global population, particularly under the stress of drought.

We also want to acknowledge the exceptional group of innovators we’re proud to share this journey with. Congratulations to our fellow Top 8 innovators:

  • Angus Croser, Ag SafeGuard
  • Darryl Lyons, Rainstick
  • Evgeny Sagulenko, Darts Bio-Tech
  • Edward Barraclough, Drone-Hand PTY LTD
  • Chris Lucani, Cavicam
  • Lachlan Vogt, AIgorithm
  • Nick Johnston, Aquifa

A heartfelt thank you to the Future Drought Fund for enabling this initiative, and to the dedicated team at Beanstalk AgTech for their guidance and belief in our vision.

Special appreciation goes out to our own Hilary Watson, and to Katerina Kotenko, Andrea Coello, Niharika Chauhan, Justin Ahmed, Jeremy Chan-Youker, and Justin McMurray, who have all played pivotal roles in supporting our journey so far.

We look forward to the next stage of the program and continuing our mission to build drought-resilient agriculture, one seed at a time.
